You should first decide on how much you want to spend on your scrapbook storage furniture. There are some really lavish pieces of furniture out there for scrapbookers, but not all of us can afford such a nice piece. And even if you can, it can sometimes be hard to spend your money on these items when your money could be used elsewhere.
After you decide how much money you are willing to let go for your favorite hobby you should consider what it is that makes the biggest mess while you are working and creating your art.

Embellishments being all over the place is the easiest and cheapest problem to solve. Small clear containers are an excellent way to control all those small pieces. This also enables you to, at a glance, decide which of your favorite embellishments are running low.
Paper stock is not as easy to manage as embellishments, but it can be done. The most affordable option are the stackable paper trays. You can set the stackable paper tray on a separate table from you work space. With all the different colors and themes this makes it easy to see exactly what you have and allows you easy access to them.
For all the other small supplies that are always getting lost under your work, a pen caddy is perfect for the job. You can have your pens, glue sticks, scissors and other often used supplies sitting at the back of your workspace. If you need something, take it for a quick spin.
